Hello. Welcome. I am so happy to have you visit our website and especially happy that you are viewing an article written to encourage you to grow in your faith and written to challenge you to look up to God who sees you, knows you, and loves you deeply. School is now in session. The highways are bustling with school buses, high school and college student drivers, and teachers and parents with school children all trying to get to their respective places. We all must adjust our lives to a new school year and a new daily routine. While we make the proper adjustments, we must not allow our busy schedules to negatively affect our priorities. Jesus said, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). God calls each of us every Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday evening to meet together for worship, Bible study, and Christian fellowship. This is not just “what we do.” This is “who we are.” Consider the following verses from the Bible and check up on yourself.
Romans 8:28
“And we know that all things work together for good TO THOSE WHO LOVE GOD, TO THOSE WHO ARE THE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.”
Psalm 1:1-3
“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of the sinner, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; AND WHATEVER HE DOES SHALL PROSPER.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
Hebrews 10:23-25
“Let us hold fast the confession of our faith without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as your see the Day approaching.”
Yesterday (August 14) we began the final five lessons in our series “Walking in the Way of the Old Rugged Cross – What We Will Enjoy at the End of Our Journey”: C-R-O-S-S – Christ Jesus, Himself, Riches beyond our imagination, Our One and Only Father, Security, and Salvation. At the end of the pathway of the Old Rugged Cross when we see Jesus, faith is no longer needed, hope is revealed, and love remains. No wonder love is the greatest. On the evening at 5:00 we focused on my God and your God, His OMNIPRESENCE. OMNI – infinite, all, complete, unlimited, PRESENCE – everywhere and anywhere at once at any time all the time. What an awesome God we have. We call Him Father. He calls us His children. I’m so glad to be a Christian, in Christ, saved by grace through faith. Are you? Make a change today for the better. MB
