Hello. Welcome. We had a very special guest speaker last Sunday, Brother David Stewart. Brother Stewart is under consideration to become our next preacher at Harding Street. We are in prayer for God’s blessing and guidance in selecting our next minister. I will be preaching this week (Father’s Day, June 16th). Then, next Sunday, June 23rd we will host another gospel preacher who is being considered for the minister position, Brother Jeremiah Schnell from Oklahoma. Please be in prayer for us as we move closer to my retirement and welcoming a new minister. Thank you.
King David was a man after God’s own heart. He wrote one of the most precious psalms in the Bible, Psalm 23. He also wrote, “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go into the house of the Lord’” (Psalm 122:1). What about you and me? Are we glad to have the great privilege of worshiping God together in spirit and in truth? I am. I hope you are too. God expects His children to meet together to “stir up love and good works” to “exhort one another” so that we can “hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering.” Read Hebrews 10:23-25 and see for yourself what God expects from us. Do we not realize just how blessed we are? Are we not encouraged and challenged when we gather together? You know the answers to these questions. We do! We are!
Father’s Day is this coming Sunday (16th)

In Romans 8:28 the Bible says that all things work together for good to those who love God and are the called according to His purpose. It could be that you have been thinking of making the decision to become a Christian. Don’t wait another moment. Just do it. The plan is simple. Hear the good news today? Jesus Christ is ready, willing, and able to save you and all who come to Him in faith. Believe. Trust in Jesus. Repent. Sin certainly causes every problem we have. You know this. Repentance is sorrow for sin and committing to change. Confess Him freely, gladly, and openly. Be born again. This is baptism in water…immersed…going down into the water and coming up out of the water to have your sins washed away. We are saved by grace through faith. God has given us His plan. If we expect His blessings, we must follow His plan. Have you? Will you? I hope so. MB
