Hello and welcome! We are so happy to be together to worship God in spirit and in truth every Lord’s Day and at other times at 906 East Harding Street in the one and only Morrilton, Arkansas. Our small city is literally running over with people waiting to experience something that only happens once in a lifetime. I’m talking about the 2024 Eclipse, scheduled for Monday, April 8, 2024 at lunchtime. We’ll see what happens. Be patient.
God is so good. Have you talked to Him in prayer lately about everything? Have you talked to Him about help with your own issues, and help for your family and friends who need healing, help, and wisdom? Have you talked to Him to thank Him for all the blessings you receive every day? Have you talked to Him simply because He is your Father and wants to hear from you? Also, have you listened to Him in the words of the Bible? Decide to include communication with the Lord a part of your everyday routine. You will be amazed at the positive difference you will experience.
Problems and Solutions:
- When I think I can’t – Philippians 4:13
- When I grow impatient – Mark 9:23
- When I think about giving up – Galatians 6:9
- When I don’t think I can make it – 2 Corinthians 4:7-10
- When I have doubts – Romans 10:17
- When I feel broken – John 10:10, 1 Peter 5:6-10
How about it? When we walk with God every day “we can” because Christ strengthens us. We remember that when we believe and remain patient and diligent, all things are possible. As we walk with God, sometimes the way seems dark and lonely, but we know that victory belongs to those who keep on keeping on. We do not let feelings of depression master our life because though we are hard-pressed on every side, we are not crushed. Though we are perplexed, we are not in despair. Though we are persecuted, we are not forsaken. Though we are struck down, we are not destroyed. God provides in His time. If we begin to doubt, we can look up, out, and around and then INTO God’s word, the Bible which is written to remove doubt. The enemy, “the thief” tries to break us. But God wants to perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle us in Jesus Christ. We can make it! One day at a time…
We continued in our sermon series “God Knows Those Who Are His” with #3 on Sunday. Those who belong to the Lord handle His word, the Bible accurately and honestly. We seek to know and understand it, to be taught by it, to remain steadfast in it, and we refuse to twist it to make it fit our own agenda. On the evening at 5:00 we looked at another foolish decision that Abram and Sarai made: They shirked personal responsibility for the sake of peace. Peace is precious, but at the expense of personal responsibility. Thank you for visiting. MB
