Hello and welcome. What a beautiful December week we are enjoying at the foot of Petit Jean Mountain on the banks of the Arkansas River. We are blessed. We are thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ for His grace and strength that keeps us strong and working together. Due to the change in weather, we have many in need of our care and prayers to God. Make sure you check out our bulletin on the link and pray each day for each of the people and their families listed. God hears our prayers and answers according to His will.
Please consider visiting with us at 906 East Harding Street for worship, fellowship, and study at any opportunity you have. We meet each week at 9:00 and 10:00 on Sunday and at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday evening except for the 3rd Sunday evening in the month. We would love for you to join us by becoming a Christian and making the decision to work and worship with us. In Acts 16:30 a man asked Paul and Silas; “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” Note the answer: “So they said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.’ Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household.” Note that the man who asked the question needed to “hear the word of the Lord” before he could believe on the Lord. Note also what the Bible said the man did “immediately” upon hearing the “word of the Lord” and when he did it. After hearing “the word of the Lord…same hour of the night…immediately he and all his family were baptized” and upon his baptism, the Bible says he “believed in God with all his household.”
CONGRATULATION TO THE DUVALL FAMILY. LETTY TATE BARTON WAS BORN on Tuesday, November 28 weighing 7 lb. 6 oz. and 19 inches long. I don’t really know why we think we need the weight and length of a baby, but there it is. Emmy and Letty are home doing well. We are so very thankful for a new addition to the Duvall family and the Harding Street family.
Remember that faith comes by hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17). We are blessed when we meditate on the word of the Lord, day and night; like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper (Psalm 1). I want a strong faith. I want to be blessed. How about you? MB
