Good morning. Welcome. The past three Sunday’s have been so good; attendance is up, smiles on our faces, voices that say, “I love you” and “I love God” and everyone rejoicing in the rich blessings we receive from the Lord. It is my hope and prayer that every member and our guests see our love for God, for one another, and for others and will want to join us in our walk together as Christians toward heaven. There are so many rich blessings that come to us when we become a Christian and live the Christian life: salvation from any sinful thought, word, or action that has broken our hearts and the hearts of those we love, the promise that everything will work out for our good because we love the Lord and are the called according to His purpose, the knowledge that there is no condemnation to us because we are “in Christ” and walk in the Holy Spirit of God, the fact that God is with us, hearing us, helping us, and protecting us, and above and beyond every other physical and spiritual blessing; we have heaven awaiting us in the end.
Congratulations to our newest Christian, Zoey Perkins. Zoey was baptized into Christ on Sunday evening, April 16. You too might be thinking about becoming a Christian. Don’t wait another minute. Let us know today and we can help you take the steps you need to take to be saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus. If you are a Christian…maybe you have already confessed Jesus as the Son of God and were baptized but have not been living the Christian life. Don’t wait another minute. Come forward after the sermon or see Mickey, Charlie, or Geoffrey or one of the elders to see what you need to do to make things right again. We love the Lord. We love the church. We love you and want you to experience all that God wants to give you.
Our GIVEAWAY DAY was a great success yesterday. We met so many friends and neighbors from Morrilton and the surrounding communities who came by to shop for FREE. A big thank you to everyone who helped in any way. God bless you. God bless us all as we show and share the love of Christ here and around the world.
THIS WEEKEND – April 28, 29, and 30 – OUR WEEKEND REVIVAL is almost here. Dr. Caleb Colley will be arriving on Friday, and he is well prepared to present lessons from God’s word that will help us grow and move ever forward in the Christian life. Please plan on being here on Friday night at 7, Saturday night at 7, and Sunday morning at 9 and 10 to hear these life-changing messages from the Bible. Invite those you know and love to come and be with you. You will be so glad you came.
On Sunday morning we once again asked the question “Am I Willing.” Last time we asked about trust. This time we asked, “Am I willing to obey?” Trust and obey. There is no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey. On the evening at 5:00 we took a look at a “picture” of Jesus. Our lesson is entitled “A Picture of Jesus – A Picture of You and Me.” Come and see. Come and hear. MB
