Hello and welcome. We are so happy to be together every Sunday, Wednesday, and any other time we can for worship, fellowship, and study. We sing together to say thank you to the Lord for His grace and goodness. We pray together to ask for God’s provision for our needs. We study together to learn and grow. We give of our means together to further the gospel locally and around the world. And every Sunday, together we remember Christ’s sacrifice for our sins as we eat the unleavened bread and drink of the fruit of the vine in the Lord’s Supper. We are blessed. Let us, every day, together be a blessing to the people all around us.
A “MOSES BASKET” for Callen Rowland, son of Curtis and Nicole, little brother of Avery arriving very soon. The doctors think that Callen may have some health issues when he arrives, so be praying for him and the Rowland family as they prepare for what lies ahead. Please place your gift or gift-card for little Callen in the basket or on the table. Thank you.

Yesterday (Oct 3) I introduced our new Sunday morning sermon series entitled “Repentance – A Command for All for All Time.” Our plan is to learn the meaning, see the motivation, and understand the “must” of God’s command to repent. All the prophets were sent from God to preach repentance. John was sent before Jesus preaching repentance. Jesus preached repentance. All the apostles preached repentance. Every preacher today must preach repentance. But just what does repentance mean? We will learn the meaning of repentance on Sunday next (10th).
On the evening at 5:00 we continued in our series “Be All You Can Be” with a lesson that helps us to let go of the past so we can move forward to be all we can be for God. Now there are many things that we should remember regarding the past; Jesus, the lessons we have learned, and the words and the law of the Lord. There are also many things we must forget, things we must let go of so that we can be all we can be: sins that have been forgiven, words that cannot be unspoken or unheard, decisions that cannot be removed and remade, things that happen in life that cannot be relived, and any should’ve, could’ve, or would’ve that we may keep reminding ourselves of. Only Christ can set us free from the past.
Hear Jesus’ invitation and “Come.” Repent. Confess Jesus. He is the Son of God, the Savior of all who come to Him. Be baptized in His name. Don’t wait another minute.
