Hello family and friends. God has given us another beautiful day to enjoy. May we honor Him in what we think, say, and do. Do you enjoy being with your Christian family? Do you appreciate the encouragement you get from them and do you understand how important it is to be an encouragement to them? The 1st Century church in the book of Acts took every opportunity they could find to be together, to worship together, to work together, to suffer together, and to share Christ with each other. You might not think you are missed when the church meets together, but you are!!! Check the following and see.

You certainly are missxd…I mean missed when we meet together. Come and be an active member of the church of Christ at Harding Street. Psalm 122:1 says, “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go into the house of the Lord.’” Do you feel the same way? I hope so.
I want us, the Harding Street church of Christ to grow in every way, in spirit, in maturity, and in number, to grow according to God’s own desire and purpose. Do you? Of course, growth comes at a price. We must study and experience truth in order to learn, grow, and know. This we have been talking about in our Sunday morning series “Our Greatest Desire – Jesus.” We are thinking about how we come to know people: by study and experience. We must look deeper, listen closer, move past our own personal bias, and then desire the truth sincerely as we seek for it. Did you hear about this man who was arrested in New York for attempting to extort funds from ignorant and superstitious people by exhibiting a device which he says will convey the human voice any distance over metallic wires so that it will be heard by the listener at the other end? He calls this instrument a telephone. Well-informed people know that it is impossible to transmit the human voice over wires. Ha! This article appeared in a New York newspaper in 1868. Today, who needs wires! I do not want to be guilty of holding back the growth of the church by my own complacency and lack of faith in God who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that I could ever ask or even imagine (Ephesians 3:20). I want to do everything I can to move us ever forward toward heaven. As the old songs teaches us; “I will work, I will pray, in the vineyard, in the vineyard of the Lord. I will work, I will pray, I will labor every day in the vineyard of the Lord.” I am and I will. Come walk with me and we will walk and talk and work and pray TOGETHER.
