Welcome! I hope you are having a good week this week. Here at the foot of Petit Jean Mountain beside the Arkansas River we are fairing well, a little cold and wet, but moving forward. Our 2020 goals remain – 150 on Sunday morning, 100 for Bible Class, 75 for Sunday night and Wednesday night and for our offering $4,227.00. I’ve always heard that if you aim at nothing, you are sure to hit it. Please keep these goals in mind and in your prayers. I realize that these are just numbers. But these numbers represent people, Christians, family, friends, and guests who unite together for help, hope, happiness, and heaven. God sees and knows our needs and will certainly provide. Our real aim is to love Him and be pleasing to Him by living every day with eyes and hearts always toward heaven. If you are looking for a church that loves God and seeks to honor Him by living the Christian life, come and see who we are. We want you in the family at Harding Street Morrilton.
We will conclude our sermon series “7 Steps Out of a Rut” on Sunday with steps 5, 6, and 7. Bartimaeus took responsibility for his own life. He believed he could change in Jesus. He clarified his needs. He didn’t worry about what people thought, said, or did when it came to his decisions for Christ. Sunday morning we will consider Step #5 – Do Something Bold and Dramatic. Then on Sunday evening at 5:00 we will look at Step #6 – Stop Waiting for Ideal Circumstances and close with Step #7 – Do What You Need to Do Now.
